I’ve been told I have quite a gift. Hey, I don’t just mean in my pants. I’ve got a big brain too, and a huge heart of gold. And I like to use all my gifts to the fullest, the package included. Life is smooth sailing….

Until I find myself stuck between a rock and a sexy roommate, which makes for one very hard…place.

Because scoring an apartment in this city is harder than finding true love. So even if I have to shack up with my buddy’s smoking hot and incredibly amazing little sister, a man’s got to do what a man’s got to do. I can resist Josie. I’m disciplined, I’m focused, and I keep my hands to myself, even in the mere five-hundred square feet we share. Until the one night she insists on sliding under the covers with me. It’ll help her sleep after what happened that day, she says. Spoiler—neither one of us sleeps. Did I mention she’s also one of my best friends? That she’s brilliant, beautiful and a total firecracker? Guess that makes her the full package too.

What’s a man stuck in a hard place to do?

The blurb really sums this one up nicely.

It just doesn’t get better than this!

Josie and Chase have been friends for years. They’re extremely comfortable with one another. So when Josie reveals she needs a roommate and Chase’s apartment searches continue to result in nothing, they decide to live together. It a no brainer type situation. However, neither of them take into account the lurking attraction they each feel for one another.

Full Package is certainly all it claims to be. It’s the total package. Excellent writing, lovable characters, great storyline; but above all it’s a smoking hot romance! This book sexy as hell! But it’s done in a way that’s over the top. It’s also sweet and emotional.

I thoroughly enjoyed the interaction between Josie and Chase! It was a treat seeing their comfortable platonic relationship develop into more. There are even pop-ups from other characters in this series. Yes, I know this isn’t technically a series, but it kinda is. Just go with it  Speakeasy is even featured, although there were no mentions of Julia and Clay. It still feels great to enter the universe Blakely has created. For those of us who have read all Lauren’s books it’s a treat to see these characters and location woven together. It made me want to reread some of my old favorite, but also long for more.

Here’s what I absolutely loved: The relationship development. It was great to see these two finally give in to the temptation. While, I wasn’t a huge fan of how short-sighted they both were I still enjoyed both characters very much. I can say from first-hand experience that the story is real and relatable. Best friends to lovers is a favorite trope of mine for a reason 😀

Overall, Lauren Blakely delivers another spectacular read. This book was perfectly executed.

  1. Ooh sounds like a good one. I read Big Rock and Mister O from L.B. and didn’t really love them. Maybe this will be more up my alley. Great review Tijuana!

    1. It definitely worked for me. I love this trope! And the MCs were well written. Plus I’ve read all LB’s books and enjoy the throwbacks to some of the earlier characters. I hope you enjoy it!
