MY TOP 10 READS OF 2016
2016 has been an awesome year for my family and I. While it hasn’t been all fun and games, we are happy and healthy. That qualifies as a success in my book.
I launched this blog a few months ago, strictly to post my rambling thoughts on the books I read. I didn’t expect anyone to read or respond, but I’ve met so many wonderful friends in the blogging community and on Goodreads. It has truly been wonderful chatting about one my favorite things with all of you.
I decided to close out this year with my Top 10 reads of 2016. These are listed in no particular order.
- Winter by Marissa Meyer
- Mr. President by Katy Evans
- Filthy Rich by Rainne Miller
- Saint by A. Zavarelli
- Fling by Jana Aston
- The Hating Game by Sally Thorne
- Nico by Sarah Castille
- Marriage Games by CD Reiss
- Turbulence by Whitney Gracia Williams
- American Queen by Sierra Simone
These books were all 4.5-5 stars for me. What I find most interesting is that, half of these books were written by new to me authors. There is definitely something to be said about branching out of your comfort zone and experiencing new things. I’ve had the pleasure of chatting with some amazing authors since launching this blog and they truly rock! Never in a million years would I have guessed my absolute favs would be dark reads. So I plan to branch out more and experience lots of new things in 2017.
Here are the January releases I’m most excited about:
I hope you all have a Happy New Year and many 5* reads in the future!
